Autumn is a table full of vegetable forward meals centred around the bounty of seasonal produce available, and sharing it all with close friends and family. Our gatherings may look a little smaller this year, but we’re just as thankful to be able to cherish these special moments together.
We celebrated our close friends’ birthday in our home the other evening, and it was such a simple and yet meaningful night with our little clan.
Our youngest son James has just began eating solid foods - one of my favourite ages with babies! The world of food and flavours is just beginning, and what better first foods than all those roasted root vegetables and squashes!
We picked the Stokke Tripp Trapp for our son Henry when he was a baby. It was able to transition with him as he grew, and I loved the minimal aesthetic and how well it fit in our home. The food tray is easily removable to wipe down, or it pushes right up to the table to have him right there with us while he eats.
He uses it now as a chair at the table, as well as a step stool up to the counter top to help me bake in the kitchen, and wash his hands at the sink.
We knew we wanted to get a second one for James, because it is so practical and the beautiful oak wood matches our dining set. It’s so sweet to see the two of them sitting up with us, and makes our meal times really fun.
This Tripp Trapp® High Chair Complete is exclusive to West Coast Kids, and can be found here.
